Service Description

Class reviews the basics of keeping livestock including, formulating healthy diets, structuring appropriate fencing, proper wiring of electric fences, microscope identification of parasites in fecal samples, administration of parasite treatment, hoof/nail care, financial costs of keeping and budgeting a profitable farm, and methods of harvesting wool. Class is approx 4hrs of combined classroom and farm tour. Dress appropriately for potentially muddy conditions (long pants and boots.)
